Malala Yousafzai is a Pakistani activist for girls' education and the youngest Nobel Prize laureate. Born on July 12, 1997, in Mingora, Swat Valley, Pakistan, she gained international recognition after surviving an assassination attempt by the Taliban in 2012 for advocating girls' right to education.
Following her recovery, Malala co-founded the Malala Fund, a nonprofit organization dedicated to ensuring 12 years of free, safe, and quality education for girls around the world. In 2014, she became the youngest-ever Nobel Peace Prize winner at the age of 17. Malala continues to be a global advocate for education, women's rights, and social justice.
